life is a revolving door

Its been a super long time since i've actually wrote anything i hope i can remember.  Of course everybody's older....My two oldest kids are graduating this year..hard to believe I know.  I also have 2 nephews graduating too.  Hopefully they all won't be on the same weekend so we can attend all of them.  Kids grow up way too fast.  I know that is such a cliche but its true.  Its always true.  You have to let your kids grow up and find their ways in the world but its hard to do.  You want them to be around you always and that way you know their safe and sound.  Growing up is so hard to do for kids and their parents...

Work went awesome today.  I laughed so much it should be illegal.  I love being able to act like a goofball and get paid do it.

Sometimes you just have to keep on trucking you know...

I have watched a lot of good movies lately.  Still playing XBOX pretty much everyday, especially on my days off.  I did start working out again.  I have a goal of being able to start running again before my 40th birthday this year...(sighs)  so tomorrow is my workout day.  It does feel good to have to blood pumping and the sweat pouring from my brow tho right now it doesn't really take that much since I'm so outta shape.

Things I watched on TV tonight after I got home from a fun night at work. I cracked myself up and made other people laugh. Its actually gives one a rather good feeling.

anyway back to original thought the TV I watched.....A movie-TAKEN-with Liam Neeson(2008). It was very good. My husband and I both enjoyed it.

Then we watched the last 45 minutes of Ice Age 3. Hilarious is all I have to say about that.

attack of the sleepy-eyed zombie

Its around 430 in the morning and its obvious that I can't sleep. For some strange reason I got bitten by the cleaning bug so I decided to run with it. One never knows when its going to hit so I take advantage because I do all that tedious cleaning that should be done ever so often anyways but never gets done. Maybe its that spring cleaning thing. It also didn't help that our dog Duchess was snoring louder than my husband Rob usually does and since she is a 90lb Mastiff its not like I can tell her to roll over or even roll her over myself. But I digress.......what really sucks about not being able to sleep is the fact that I have to work tomorrow at 1230. Either I will make it or I won't.

My son Isaac finally got his driver's permit. I am looking forward to teaching him how to drive. I'm so proud of him. He always worry's about passing any kind of test that he has but I just reming him that he gets straight A's and he will do just fine. And of course he does every time. He takes after me in that regard. He is a great kid. Actually all 3 of my kids are great. I don't know how I got so lucky.

Last night I got to talk to my good friend "R" that I haven't spoken to for a long while. Well, I can't ever remember the last time we chatted. It was good to get back into touch with him, he was a riot to hang out with. He even invited the hubby and I to come over for a visit after I get off work tomorrow(actually later today). I am looking forward to because its been awhile since we've hung out with friends closer to my age. My friend Summer from work came over last friday and we played "kings" the drinking game which my hubby won of course. I took a couple of shots of jaggermiester and that was it for me. I'm just not that into drinking anymore. I guess its because I'm older and getting drunk and feeling like crap the next day just isn't my idea of fun anymore. But ehh, whaddya gonna do peer pressure sucks...lol

Just having a little fun on neopets. Supposedly I'm like the Air Fairie....which is i guess could be kind of true....sometimes it takes a little time for things to land.

Isaac is finally playing Modern Warfare 2 online. He can't have his X-box online at his dad's house but we have ours online so he plays here. He has been playing since aound 5 this afternoon and he is on Level 13 so far. I played him in a private match and he kicked my butt. I played Elijah and I beat him once and that was the end of my winning streak. They really like playing the game and so do I. Ok. Elijah just walked in and he says I didn't beat him....I am starting to see a rematch in the not so distant future....stay tuned for more developments...

Just a quick update.....Duchess our 6 month old mastiff puppy is now 62.5 lbs. Pepper our 4 yr old husky mix is only 54.5 lbs. She has started to chance him around the yard now instead of the other way around.

Hubby went and got the new call of duty game modern warfare 2. Its really cool and no, i havent played it cause I don't even try. I just like watching the hubby and my 2 boys play it. I think the graphics are awesome, and the maps are way more involved than in the last one. I will tell you that the online play is harder (to me anyways) than the 1st game. Which is good, it intensifies the game. My oldest son Isaac is dying to play it but he has to wait until the next weekend to play it because we have it here and he doesn't have one at his Dad's house. I was thinking to taking the game up to him so he can start playing it. I know he is going to love it.

In family news.....I found out last week that my eldest sister Lori is back in jail. Yeah I said jail. She has been back in since September. A friend of hers called me. I guess she said something to him about calling me when he went to go see her. I can't blame her for not thinking of it sooner. She has a lot of difficulty in the mental area. And I'm not sure if she will ever get better. I keep thinking that if she lived up here closer to us we could help her more and make sure she does everything that she can to get herself better. She really doesn't have a support system where she is because her family-meaning me and our 2 other sisters-are all up here in ohio. Anyways, I found the # for where she is so I'm gonna call it to see how I can write to her. So I can let her know that we love her and are here for her when she is ready to need to us. I hope.

Oh yeah, My eldest son, Isaac got a 4.0 gpa on his report card. I'm so proud of him. I knew he could do it.

things are moving fast

Hey everyone. Just sitting here at home watching another episode of Law & Order criminal intent. Very good show. The season premieres of House and Heroes was absolutely entertainment at its best. I also watched the new show Eastwick and The Good Wife i enjoyed both of those which I know that one of them or both won't make it. You get hooked on a show and then they pull it. There are so many shows that I like and with my work schedule thank god for the DVR.

Our new mastiff puppy "Duchess" is doing great. She is 5 months old and she is almost bigger than our 4 yr old Husky mix "Pepper". It so funny watching them play together. Our 2 kitties chewy and fuzzy love her too. They will cuddle right up with her and sleep. They play with her tail and she just ignores them.

We did get the new Halo ODST game for xbox when it came out. Its a pretty cool game. I don't play them much anymore because it just hurts my hands too much. Hubby and my 2 teenage boys like playing it. I just watch and read my books.

I read The Time Travelers Wife it was very very good. It was hard to put it down, you want read more and more but Alas! one does have to sleep sometime. Speaking of sleepy Hubby is past out in his recliner. He is still in a lot of pain from his neck surgery its hard to sleep in the bed.

I think I might take a nap today. I don't work again until the morrow.
