the faintest of glimmers,
silver, sparkling, a warm glow
ignited by a moment, rare
tucked inside, the blind emotional soul
in fear of waging a lustful hope.
captivating heart, to much a care.

what a drab color, indeed
No hats, flashing lights or colorful beads.
For the circus left town yesterday.
